"Powerhouse Rock n' Roll Soul Chick" Davina Robinson is an American singer-songwriter based in Osaka, Japan. She has become known locally for her powerful, bluesy voice and energetic live performances.
Though her first love is Rock, Davina has displayed her versatility in a variety of genres, having played in many live situations as a front woman for cover bands and acoustic duos, at clubs, parties and corportate events.
In addition to her experience as a front woman, she also has performed back-up vocals for Ray Parker Jr. and Cheryl Lynn, and has utilized her distinctive voice for narration; past examples include a jingle for Osaka radio station FM-802 and a commercial for Mister Donuts.
Davina began concentrating on performing her original material after the 2008 release of her debut EP, The Blazing Heart. The EP features the soul/funk-infused rock number "Making Love To Your Girlfriend", earning an Honorable Mention from the Billboard Song Contest and a Runner-Up in the VH-1 Song of the Year Contest, among other accolades.
Davina released the digital single "Osaka Boys" two years later, and the track is featured on her first full-length album, Black Rock Warrior Queen, released November 2011.

ダヴィーナの熱くソウルフルなロックスタイルは、情感あふれるパワフルなヴォーカルとともに、深い意味をこめた歌詞を届ける。この独特の組み合わせが評価され、ビルボードソングコンテスト、VH-１ソングオブザイヤーコンテスト、UKソングライティングコンテストなどで数々の賞を受賞。
2010年5月、デジタルシングル「Osaka Boys」をリリース。2011年11月、「Osaka Boys」を含めて10曲入りのファーストフルアルバム「Black Rock Warrior Queen」をリリース。
作曲力と堂々たるヴォーカルに定評のある”ロックンロールソウル”シンガーとして、国際シーンにも活動の場を広げている。
